Investigation: After Donald Trump's presidency, he allegedly took classified documents from the White House. When government officials requested the return of those documents, Donald Trump intervened. 

Date of indictment: June 2023

Plea: Trump pleaded not guilty

Evidence: 

  • Approximately 100 documents were seized at Mar-a-Lago a Trump Florida residence.

What's next?: A trial is scheduled for May 20, 2024 in Florida
