Pascal Delivers provides Increased Access
Strategic Goal 1: Enhance, preserve, and provide universal access to print and electronic information resources to member libraries.
No one library is able to house all of the material that users need. To help remedy this, our consortium agrees to share collections and supply materials to each other on demand. Though each library has full control over the requestability and requestable format of items in their collection, a mix of print and digital items are available to users at all times.
Because of this agreement:
A free rapid delivery service for books and digitized copies of articles and chapters!
You can also request some digitized options from other institutions. Certain restrictions apply.
Things to know:
Pick Up Anywhere
Patrons may choose a location at which to pick up their requests. This pickup location may be neither the patron’s home institution nor the item’s owning institution. Patrons will find a list of eligible pickup location options on the Resource Sharing Request Form in Primo.
Visiting Patrons
Patrons may visit any participating PASCAL library in person to browse and checkout items. Only items that are available for request via PASCAL Delivers Print are available for checkout to Visiting Patrons. When planning to visit a participating PASCAL library, be sure to check that library’s hours of operation.
Return Anywhere
Patrons may return their PASCAL Delivers Print requests to any participating PASCAL library.
