Hello!
I am Daniel Stevens, and I am the Electronic Resources and Cataloging Librarian here at Edens Library. I have a B.A. in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from West Virginia University, as well as a Master of Library Science from North Carolina Central University. I enjoy visiting the zoo, volunteering at the Harriet Hancock LGBTQ+ Center in the Sam Nickles Memorial Library, and being crafty in as many ways as I can (including crocheting, pyrography, and creating crafts with books).
For Students, Faculty, and Staff:
If you are having issues accessing resources the library is supposed to have, feel free to contact me. If there is a resource the library doesn’t have, but you think it should, let me know and I will look into it. Accessibility to library resources is a major component to education and should not be a hindrance to learning. Equal access to information, opposition of censorship, and intellectual freedom are important factors in librarianship, and factors I strongly believe in.
