Hey Koalas!
Today, I wanted to introduce evryone to Chuck Walsh the Edens Library Circulation Manager. In addition to taking charge over circulation, which is the lending and returning of library materials, he also is responsible for student workers and the student assistance center, which helps with the printing kiosks and general technological questions. Even with all these various responsibilities, he is also a fiction writer! His titles include A Splintered Dream, A Month of Tomorrows, A Passage Back, Backwoods Justice, Black Mingo Creek, and Shadows on Iron Mountain.
His role is extremely important for us students. The Circulation DEsk, at the entrance of the library, is the place to go if you need help locating a book, to return / check-out any materials, to pick-up / request books through PASCAL, or have a problem printing. PASCAL is the Partnership Among South Carolina Academic Libraries. This allows students to loan books from other academic libraries across the state. This is a great resource for anyone needing a specific book that Edens Library does not have. It is a simple process to request the book, pick it up at the circulation desk, and then return it within six weeks. Do not be afraid to use the library services and librarians to your advantage. they are here to support us and answer any questions from research help to book reccomendation to technological assistance. They are here to support your academic endeavors and leisure desires!
