How can I help you?

Hello!

I’m Jane Tuttle, the Director of Edens Library.  I have a B.A. in History from UNC-Asheville and a Master’s in Library Science from USC.  I’ve worked at Edens Library since 1988.  The focus of my research is the First International Track Meet for Women (1922), and the athletes and coaches who participated, including Lucile ”Ludy” Godbold, Maud Rosenbaum, Janet Snow, and Coach Harry Eaton Stewart and patron, Winifred Edgerton Merrill.  In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, thrifting, and walking/hiking.

For Students: I’m here to help with your library questions. My office is across from the front doors and I also work at the Reference Desk.  If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know. I work to bring new resources to the library to support your class and research needs. I also work with the wonderful collection of the College’s Archives.  So if you want to explore an aspect of CC history, just let me know.

For Faculty: I’m here to ensure that Edens Library with Educational Technology is an essential academic support partner for you, your students, and for the CC community. If you need resources (databases, books, periodicals, media) to support your teaching, please let me know. Educational Technology is a vital support component for faculty, staff, and students. I also work with the wonderful collection of the College’s Archives.  If you have any need or concern, please let me know.
